It's not a horrible game by any means, it's just not that fun in the long run- it's great for short bursts though. Also, I actually do like TS4 despite its major drawbacks. To sum it up: I play TS4 because my computer can't handle TS3. Why does the game still feel empty even after all of these add-ons? Why are there no seasons? Why is there no family pack? Who the hell needs a garden pack? Why were there hardly no PLANTS in the GARDEN pack? Ugh. Why was Get Together not a University pack? It makes no sense. I doubt that they'll be added in but I really hope that they do at some point.Įmpty EPs SPs and GPs. A big part of the game for me was to have the parents read their toddlers bedtime stories, put the toddlers in the highchair, dress the toddler in little outfits, and walk with them in the pram. It's so unrealistic to age a baby up into a child. I know that there are still memories, but they're too hard to access and it's clear that they're not a huge part of the game. I can't tell you how many times I have suddenly changed aspirations in real life. I feel that it helps make your sims more 'relatable'.

On a similar line of thought, it's great that we can change aspirations whenever we want without mods or cheats.

I also love how over time you can 'collect' traits. The sim's expressions are great! I love how their personalities truly shine in TS4. Plus, the loading screens in TS4 only happen if you want to go to another lot- you can still leave your house without a loading screen. It created too much lag and I hardly left the house anyway.

I am a huge fan of how pretty the worlds look and honestly, I'm not even missing the open world thing from TS3. I love how cartoonish the sims look and how customisable they are in CAS, from their hair right down to the size of their feet.
